UniteSol Module Sales 30% Growth in Q1 But Year Forecast Adjusted to 20%
UniteSol announce today that, Company has signed over 220MW sales contracts by March 15th, and more than 160MW additional contracts are under discussion and to be signed in Q1. This is a good number and is around 30% growth compared to last year. Revenue for the signed contracts is about 50.6 million US dollars. Due to coronavirus situation, about 15% of these contracts will be delayed to deliver in April.
Because of the sudden coronavirus outbreak that happened in other countries in the past two weeks, Company has reduced its Year Growth Target to 20% in solar module business, which originally was 30% decided in December last year. But Company believe global solar markets will be recovered in the next 2 months.
According to UniteSol 2020 Corporate Strategy, Company’s new product Energy Storage System (ESS) has already been launched into worldwide markets, and Company believe this will have a quick business growth. UniteSol feel very optimistic and confident about its continuous growth in 2020, based on its very competitive advantages of PV technology and cost control in global markets.
